I'm a web engineer with 15+ years of hands-on experience across federal defense, commercial, and nonprofit work. I hold the CISSP certification, and I've spent a meaningful part of my career doing exactly the kind of work Aurathmic now offers as an audit: finding what's broken on a website (accessibility gaps, security holes, performance problems) and fixing it.

My background includes work with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Joint Task Force-National Capital Region / U.S. Army Military District of Washington, and the Defense Logistics Agency. That work included leading Section 508 accessibility efforts and delivering under conditions where there was no room for a site to fail, including a pre-staged presidential state funeral website that held up under 200,000 visits in a single day.

I founded Aurathmic because I believe this kind of work should be led by someone senior who's actually done it, not handed off through layers of account managers and junior staff.
